Project Steps
- -Please Note- Only true colored glass can be etched with cream. Always test first before beginning any project.
- -This design was etched in stages. The technique enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit. It also allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously.
- -After preparing the glass, choose a location and place the heart stencil in a location on the vase where there is enough surrounding space to accommodate two hummingbird images later on.
- -Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the heart onto the vase.
- -Thoroughly clean the glass. Place one hummingbird stencil on each side of the heart. Look through the back of the vase to confirm desired beak location.
- -As before, follow the etching cream instructions to add the hummingbirds to the vase.
